Salt Lake City, UT – [January 23, 2025] – Bailey’s Moving and Storage is pleased to announce that Troy Talbot has been appointed as the new General Manager of the Salt Lake City Branch. With a distinguished career in the moving and storage industry and a deep commitment to mentorship, Troy brings extensive experience and a strong work ethic to this leadership role.
Troy's journey with Bailey’s Moving began years ago when he first entered the moving industry. After serving in the Marine Corps during Desert Storm, he initially planned to pursue a career as a highway patrolman. However, his path took a turn when he took on a job as a mover. His strong work ethic and drive helped him quickly grow his career. Over the years, Troy has worked in various roles, from company driver to owner/operator. His wide breadth of experience has shaped his career in the industry and prepared him for this leadership opportunity.
During his time working with Bailey’s Moving, Troy has earned a reputation for being hardworking and focused on personal and professional growth. He also values the relationships he has built with colleagues and customers alike, considering them like family.

Troy’s background as a driver has given him a unique perspective on what motivates and drives people in the moving industry. Starting from the ground up has given him a deep understanding of the challenges faced by employees and customers alike. His open-minded approach to leadership, coupled with his focus on continuous improvement, positions him well to lead the Salt Lake City team to new heights.
Outside of work, Troy enjoys spending time with his family and enjoying the outdoors. He also has a passion for sports and grew up raising racehorses, which reflects his competitive spirit and drive.
